Summary

Join our team as a Building & Grounds Associate and help keep our facility running at its best! In this hands-on role, you’ll support the overall care, cleanliness, and functionality of our grounds and workspaces. From assisting with routine upkeep to supporting the movement of materials and supplies, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our entire operation. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is ready to make an impact across the facility.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am-4:00pm

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, & federal agencies as well as company policies.
• Perform maintenance on buildings, exterior. Including grass cutting, weed control etc.
• Address any USDA issues.
• Maintain sanitary conditions outside of the building and grounds. Removing trash and dirt from parking lot, fence area, trash compactor areas, trailer wash areas and swales.
• Perform painting and minor carpentry repairs in and around the facility.
• Replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, light covers, and other light building maintenance repairs as directed by management.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
• Operate motorized equipment used for clearing drains and power washing.
• Work at heights over 50 feet.
• General plumbing repairs including drain cleaning.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
